This material is a Tamil palm-leaf manuscript from Northern Province, Sri Lanka.This manuscript is severly damaged and deteriorated, rendering the text illegible thus, it is difficult to determine the author, title and exact age of the manuscript. However it is estimated to be from 1900-1950. This manuscript is related to medicine. It contains the detailed descriptions of various medicines for many diseases like diabetes, Jaundice, delirium, rheumatism, teeth diseases and for poisoned. It mentions about the medicinal powders, balms, pills, medicinal patches. First few pages of manuscript is not in order. The protective cover is not available. Pages are numbered.
