This material is a Tamil palm-leaf manuscript titled Parikāra vākaṭam (medicine) from Northern Province, Sri Lanka. The period of this manuscript is unknown but it is estimated to be from 1900-1950. This palm-leaf manuscript related to medicine and it gives details to medicines. The manuscript is partially in good condition. It also contains all types of remedies for all the types of poisonous animals. It mentions medicinal powders, oils, balms, pills and medicinal patches to cure from poison. . It contains 652 pages and the letters are clear to read. The protective cover is made up of palmurah leaf.
