This material is a Tamil palm-leaf manuscript titled “Vaḷḷiyam'māṇai” from the Eastern region, Sri Lanka. A major part of the manuscript is severely damaged and deteriorated, thus it is difficult to determine the exact age of the original manuscript. However, it is estimated to be from 1801 -1899. This manuscript has stories about Vaḷḷi murukaṉ. The manuscript has 264 pages. Each page has two songs. The protective cover is made up of neem.
