This material is a Tamil palm-leaf manuscript titled “Cittiraputrar katai and Māṟkaṇṭar muṉivar katai ” from Northern Province, Sri Lanka. The author, time and exact place of the manuscript are unknown. However, it is estimated to be 1800-1900. The manuscript has two stories of religious saints (Cittiraputrar and Māṟkaṇṭar muṉivar). It contains their life history (Stories like the birth of Cittiraputrar). The stories of Cittiraputrar include subheadings including Cittiraputrar katai cittiraputrar pacuviṉ vayiṟṟil piṟanta katai varum varalāṟu. Iyamaṉ varavu and Naṉmai varum varalāṟu. Māṟkaṇṭar muṉivar stories contains subheadings including Ceṭṭicciyam'mai katai varum varalāṟu.Cekatala irāmaṉ kataivarum varalāṟu amutacūraṉ katai varum varalāṟu. and Nampirāṭṭi katai varum varalāṟu The devotees who listen to the story of Cittiraputrar will live prosperously. The manuscript has a protective cover. The manuscript is in good condition. Pages are numbered.
