This material is a Tamil palm-leaf manuscript titled “Caiva nūṟtiraṭṭu” from Eastern Province, Sri Lanka. The manuscript was written by Cempāppōṭi son of Ka.Tō.Va.Vi. Aḻakippōṭi on 24th February 1975. The front page contains the author’s details. The manuscript gives various religious texts in order. It contains religious songs including Tiruvempāvai sung in Tiruvaṇṇāmalai (page 1 to 35), Tirupoṟcuṉṉam sung in Tillai (page 36 to 80) Tiruvam'māṉai sung in koccakak kalippā (pages 81 to 101). The song form named “Kāyakappal” is also included in this manuscript. The manuscript has a protective cover and the manuscript pages are made up of palmyra leaf.
