This material is a Tamil palm-leaf manuscript titled ‘Periya vaḷḷiyam'maṉ am'māṇai’ from Eastern Province, Sri Lanka. This manuscript is written and owned by Kaṇapatippōṭi kantappōṭi on 22 May 1924. ‘Periya vaḷḷiyam'maṉ am'māṇai’ is about songs that describes the marriage of Lord Muruga with Valli. It contains Kaṭavuḷ vāḻttu, kaṇapati, murukaṉ, carasvati, and kuru vāḻttu. This manuscript contains only 270 pages. The manuscript is in good condition. The protective cover is made up of teak. The letters are clear to read.
