The material consists of data on five stars, and two letters. Stars: S Sculptoris (Ch 62) draft article. RV Sagittarii (Ch 6608) draft article. S Pictoris (Ch 1850) draft article and summary of observations (1896 April 02 to 1918 April 30). S Gruis draft article (without a title page) and summary of observations (1898 November 04 to 1916 December 24). S Phoenicis (Ch 8603) draft article and summary of observations (1895 August 20 to 1916 December 21). Letters: A 1 page letter of reference, dated 1913 December 10, for Mzingali "Simon Bobi" Mgidlana, who had completed a Teacher's Course at the Lovedale Institution. Signed by Roberts as "Head Master Normal Department". A 3 page (split pin removed) partial draft of a letter from Roberts to an unidentified recipient requesting funding to support Roberts' astronomical work, specifically the cost of publishing his research. Roberts mentions the Rhodes Bequest, and the Rhodes Trust, in the letter. Previously listed as R090. Found in 4 folders. S SCL in Cupboard 3 (T 53 mm).
