Three lists of HR stars, of young spectral type, for a programme of spectral photography. Entries are followed by pencilled-in plate numbers. All pages are crossed out, sometimes with "Re-written" written across the page. No dates appear in the book. However, the co-ordinates are given for epoch 1940, so the lists would be circa 1940. Portions of the third list has a note: "R[epeat] Lost in shipping / Case IIII". These may be some of the plates that we lost at sea when the ship was sunk during the Second World War.
