Observing programmes, on a variety of telescopes, in the form of lists of target objects with pencilled-in plate numbers as applicable, with very basic programme notes. The book has several titles on the cover, which are struck through. These refer to the 8-inch Bache and the ADH Telescope, and the observatories of Uccle, Armagh, Dunsink, Munster, and Wurzburg. Targets identified on the cover are the Magellanic Clouds, Selected Areas, low-temperature stars, and Magellanic clusters.
