This is a transcript of two separate recordings of two different artists. The transcript is written on a set of loose papers. Munir Khan Mirasi and Bhadar Khan Mirasi of the Mirasi community sing the story of 'Rupande' in the Churu district of Rajasthan. This recording was made on 1st May 1980. In the second recording an unknown singer from Surpura village of Nagaur district sings the story of 'Tolande'. This recording was made on 22nd May 1981.
Custodial history: Collection of Komal Kothari, housed at Rupayan Sansthan.
Extent and format of original material: I set of 84 loose pages.
Physical characteristics: A set of loose pages. Pages are very old, brittle and tend to disintegrate. Severe acid reaction has given the pages a very strong yellow tint. The text is handwritten with blue, black and red.
