This is the ninth volume of Bata Ri Phulwari, a series of collections of short stories written by Vijaydan Detha. It contains ninteen stories from Rajasthani folklore. An essay by Komal Kothari in Hindi titled 'Manovigyan ke Kshetra me Lok-katha(Folk tales in the field of Psychology) is included in his volume.
