This is a set of papers containing notes and personal writings of Komal Kothari. The first few pages contain the storyline of an excerpt from regional tale "Pandoon Ka kada", followed by an essay title 'the philosophy of folk music'. The set contains sketches of a variety of Rajasthani musical instruments followed by various characteristics of and inter-relations between the various regional epics, castes and communities of artists and various sets of musical instruments used. The last few pages contain notes on presentations of Stuart Blackburn and Narayar Rao at a conference in Madison, US.
