- Letters written by Charles Richardson, at age 10, and addressed to Ralph and Meriel as Mummy and Daddy.
The many of these letters are sent from Summer Fields, Charles' boarding school near Oxford, by air mail to Ralph and Meriel on tour in Australia in 1955.
However they also include a series of notes written by Charles on the headed paper of the Glen Ascham hotel, Sydney, probably also in the summer of 1955, and left for his parents to read on their return to the hotel after their evening productions, and one note written by Charles on the headed paper of the Jamaica Inn hotel, Jamaica.
This folder also includes three copies of a photograph depicting Charles holding a wallaby at the zoo.
