- Letters and postcards to Meriel Forbes from Nancy Lovett, Charles Richardson's nanny, providing details of his health and development. Ms Lovett seems to have been based at Summer Fields, Charles' boarding school in Oxford, and provided additional care for the pupils.
The majority of these letters are airmail sent to Ralph and Meriel while they were performing in Australia, and they include a letter from a tutor, Olive Martin, about Charles' progress in lessons during the holidays.
