Chezhiyatharaiyan alis thagantheertha chezhiyathariyan lead in war at Palakkad and Salem on behalf of Panida king. This work was written by Kavi veeraragava and dealt with five thantras.
செழியதரையனை தாகந்தீர்த்த செழியதரையன் என்று அழைப்பர். இவர் பாலக்காடு, சேலம் முதலிய இடங்களில் பாண்டிய வேந்தன் பொருட்டுப் போர் செய்து புகழ்பெற்றவன். கவிவீரராகவர் இவரைக் கண்டு பாடியபோது அவருக்குத் தக்க பரிசில் கொடுக்க, அப்பரிசில் தமக்குப் போதாது என்று கருதி அக்குறிப்புத் தோன்ற ஐந்து தந்திரங்களைப் பாடினார் என்பர். மித்துரு பேதம், மித்துரு லாபம், சுஹ்ருத பேதம், விக்ரஹம், அபரிக்க்ஷிதகாரகம் போன்ற ஐந்து தந்திரங்கள் இதில் அடங்கியுள்ளன.
