This work Vibeedanan Adaikalam decribes how vibeedanan, brother of Ravana went to Rama got shelter. Ravana abducted Sita, wife of Lord Rama. Vibeedanan advice Ravana about that mistakes, but Ravana not accopted his advice hence he left him and took shelter with Rama. Leaf nos. 5, 47 and 51 are missing.
விபீடணன், விபீசணன் அல்லது வீடணன் இராமாயணத்தில் இடம்பெறும் ஒரு கதைமாந்தர். இவரது மகள் திரிசடை ஆவார். இவன் இராவணனின் தம்பி ஆவான். நீதி நியாயத்தின் படி வாழ்ந்து வந்தான். சீதையை இராவணன் கடத்தி வந்த போது அநியாயம் என்று எடுத்து உரைத்தான். சீதையை விட்டுவிடுமாறு பல ஆலோசனைகள் கூறினான். ஆனால் இராவணன் அதனை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள மறுத்துவிட்டான். நியாயத்துக்கு எதிராக இராவணனுக்கு உதவ விரும்பாத விபீடணன் இராமனிடம் அடைக்கலம் அடைந்து அவனுக்கு உதவியதை எடுத்துரைக்கும் நூல் வீடணன் அடைக்கலம். 5, 47, 51ஆம் ஏடுகள் இல்லை.
