This Manuscript Sivatharumoththaram written by Velakkurichi Mutt deciple Marignana Sambanthar in 16th century. This work is formed as Lord Muruga’s Answer for Agathiya’s questions. It reflects Tamil people’s Sivagama thoughts. This work has 1224 stanzas in chapters.This work has only 1800 answers out of 12000.
சிவதருமோத்தரம் என்னும் நூல் தி௫க்கயிலாய பரம்பரை வேளாக்குறிச்சி ஆதீன சீடர் மறைஞான சம்பந்தர் என்னும் சைவப் பெரியாரால் 16 ஆம் நூற்றாண்டில் எழுதப்பட்ட நூல்களில் ஒன்று. அகத்தியர் வினாக்களுக்கு முருகக்கடவுள் சொல்லும் விடைகளைக் கூறுவதாக அமைந்துள்ளது இந்த நூல். வடமொழியிலிருந்து தமிழாக்கம் செய்யும்போது ஆசிரியர் இந்நூலில் தமிழரின் சிவாகமக் கோட்பாடுகளையும் புகுத்தியுள்ளார். இது பாயிரம் மற்றும் 12 இயல்களில் 1224 செய்யுள் கொண்டது. முருகன் சொன்ன 12,000 விடைகளுள் 1,800 விடைகள் இவை என்று சொல்லிக்கொண்டு நூல் வளர்கிறது.
