This work Kambaramayanam of Kambar has six divisions as Bala, Ayothiya, Aranya, Kishkinda, Sundara and Yuddha kandas with 123 chapters. It depects the life of Rama in Tamil languages. This manuscript has 15 chapters from Virathan vadha chapter to Sabarisodasa padalam with 1090 stanzas. This manuscript dealt with vanavasa of Rama, Lakshmana and Sita, moksha to Virathan, getting weapons from Agathiyar, etc of Aranya kandam. This manuscript starts with leaf no 166.
பால காண்டம், அயோத்தியா காண்டம், ஆரண்யக் காண்டம், கிட்கிந்தா காண்டம், சுந்தர காண்டம், யுத்தக் காண்டம் ஆக ஆறு காண்டங்களையும் 123 படலங்களையும் கொண்ட இராமபிரானின் வாழ்க்கை வரலாற்றை கம்பர் படைத்துள்ளார். இச்சுவடி, விராதன் வதைப்படலம் தொடங்கி சபரி சோடச படலம் ஈறாக 15 படலங்களில் 1090 பாடல்கள் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளன. தசரதன் ஆணையால் 14 ஆண்டுகள் வனம் சென்ற இராமனுடன் இலக்குமணன், சீதை ஆகியோரும் செல்கின்றனர். விராதனுக்கு மோட்சம் அளித்தல், அகத்தியர் மந்திர ஆயுதங்கள் வழங்குதல், சூர்ப்பனகையின் மூக்கரிதல், மாரீசன் வதைப்படல், சீதை கவரப்படல், கபந்த மோட்சம், சபரி மோட்சம் ஆகியவற்றை ஆரண்ய காண்டம் எடுத்துரைக்கிறது. ஏட்டெண் 166இல் நூல் தொடங்குகிறது.
