This work thiruvilaiyadal puram describs the grace of Lord Siva to their devotees. It has three division as Madurai kandam-18 chapters, koodal kandam-30 chapters and thiruvalavay kandam 16 chapters total 64 chapters with3363 stanzas. This manuscript has only 12 stanzas of kadalsuvara velvitta chapter.
சிவபெருமான் தன்னுடைய அடியார்கள் மீதும் சிற்றுயிர்கள் மீதும் கொண்ட அன்பினால் தாமே பூலோகத்திற்கு வந்து செய்த அறுபத்துநான்கு திருவிளையாடல்களின் தொகுப்பே இந்நூல். 64 படலங்களில் 3363 பாடல்கள் கொண்டதாக இந்நூல் அமைந்துள்ளது. திருவிளையாடல் புராணம் மூன்று காண்டங்களாகப் பிரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. அவையாவன: மதுரைக்காண்டம் - 18 படலங்கள் கூடற்காண்டம் - 30 படலங்கள் திருவாலவாய்க் காண்டம் - 16 படலங்கள் ஆகும். முதல் பகுதியான மதுரைக் காண்டம் இந்திரன் பழி தீர்த்த படலம் முதல் வருணன் விட்ட கடலை வற்றச் செய்த படலம் வரை 18 படலங்களைக் கொண்டுள்ளது. அடுத்த கூடற் காண்டம் நான்மாடக் கூடலான படலம் முதல் நாரைக்கு முத்தி கொடுத்த படலம் வரையான 30 படலங்களையும், மூன்றாவது பகுதியான திருவாலவாய்க் காண்டம் திருவாலவாயான படலம் முதல் வன்னியும் கிணறும் இலிங்கமும் அழைத்த படலம் வரை 16 படலங்களையும் கொண்டுள்ளது. கடல்சுவர வேல்விட்ட படலத்தில் 12 பாடல்கள் வரை இச்சுவடியில் இடம்பெற்றிருக்கின்றன.
