- Survey of India composite map
- Scope & Content:
- A topographical map at 1 inch to 1 mile, composed of parts of four sheets from the Survey of India series: 38N15 and 38N16, and 43B3 and 43B4. The composite map covers an area with Mardan, in present-day Pakistan, situated just south east of the centre of the sheet. Printed dates vary; the latest visible is 1925. Published under the direction of the Surveyor General of India. At least two of the sheets were heliozincographed at the Survey of India Offices, Calcutta. Envelopes associated with items donated by Major Frith are held at IOR/X/14743/2.
