- Title:
- Photocopies of a map of Quetta and Environs
- Scope & Content:
- Two overlapping photocopies of a map of Quetta and Environs with a note on a compliment slip from the Map Room, Royal Geographical Society. Each photocopy has a stamp 'Reproduced from documents in the Royal Geographical Society' on verso. There is no production information from the original map on the photocopies. The note states that the map accompanied 'the panorama photograph (donated by Lt-Col. H F Walford who was out there ca 1933-34)'. The note is signed Frances 19.6.1980. The photocopies show that the original from which they were made has manuscript additions identifying landmarks in a panorama. The measured scale is approximately 1:500,000; the photocopies may have been enlarged from the original.
