Press cuttings relating to the Quilliam family, featuring cuttings from the Crescent (1893-1908), an Islamic newspaper, and the Porcupine, a satirical magazine. Both publications were edited by Abdullah Quilliam. Includes:

• One photocopy of a cutting, undated, probably 1874. The funeral of Samuel Quilliam (d. 28 Jun 1874).
• Photocopies of cuttings from the Liverpool Daily Post and Liverpool Courier, 7 and 8 Aug 1889. The death and funeral of Abdullah Quilliam's father, Robert Quilliam.
• One photocopy of a cutting, 1896. The establishment of the Medina Home for Children. Hannah Quilliam is Honorary Treasurer, W. H. Quilliam Esq. is Honorary Solicitor.
• One photocopy of a cutting from the Porcupine, 7 Apr 1900, p. 241. Quilliam's 44th birthday.
• Photocopies of cuttings from the Crescent, undated, probably Apr 1901, pp. 243-247. The death and funeral of Quilliam's mother, Sister Harriet Khadijah Quilliam-Holehouse (1832-1901). Quilliam has published under his alias H. [Haroon] Mustapha Leon.
• One photocopy of a cutting from the 'Editorial Notes' of the Crescent, 3 Jul 1901, p. 9. Ethel Marian Quilliam and Lillian Ayesha Quilliam have both passed their examination in the London Institute for Advancement of Plain and Fancy Needlework.
