Rhythmic shouts (strigături), New Year wishes (hăituri), enchantements, disenchantments, descriptions of various customs, lyric songs, proverbs, sayings. Part are recorded from informants not in the original context of performance. The context of performance and the additional instruments are stated by the informants for some of the folkloric creations. Gathered in Cahul town, Vâlcova village, Crihana village, Manta village, Cahul district. Creations: 1. Continued from notebook 28 Jocuri din Cahul, Crihana, Vâlcova (short description). 2. Strigături, 3. Proverbe, zicători auzite de la țărani din satu Vâlcova, Cahul, Crihana, Manta. 3. Alte obiceiuri din satele Crihana, Vâlcova, Manta, Cahul, raionul Cahul. 4. Custodial history: The archival material in this notebook was gathered in the summer of 1946 and 1947 by a student of the State University of Chişinău, Cahul branch, in the second year of bachelor studies, working as intern for the Institute of Language and Literature. It was taken into custody by the Institute of Language and Literature of the Moldovan Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences / MSSR Academy of Sciences and had the same custodial history as the entire collection.
Extent and format of original material: 1 notebook of 12 files. Not typical format (16.5 cm x 19 cm).
Owner(s) of original material: Institute of Language and Literature, nowadays Institute of Romanian Philology "Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu".
