An unmounted astrological thangka / divination chart
- Scope & Content:
- A very worn, small and simple astrological thangka / divination chart. Written text on the reverse in Tibetan Uchen script may be a mantra / blessing or perhaps a description but is very faded. Folded rather than rolled up. Used in ceremonies after the death of an individual but also in other ceremonies during a person's lifetime.
Extent: One astrological thangka / divination chart.
Size and dimensions of original material: 39 cm x 28 cm.
Condition of original material: Very faded, with some staining and two holes in the cloth fabric.
Arrangement: Texts and ritual objects kept in boxes in the prayer room (not seen).
