- A collection of topographical maps of countries in Asia, showing major settlements, communications, and other built features, from an atlas of the world by Adam and Charles Black.
- IOR/X/14769/1 - No. 39. Part of Turkey in Asia, Arabia, Oman and Aden at a scale of 160 English statute miles to one inch. British, Turkish, Arabian and Omani territories are differentiated by colour, and names of tribes are indicated in italics. There are two insets on the left of the map, one of Modern Jerusalem and one of Modern Palestine at different scales. There is a list of translations below an 'Explanation' (legend) at the bottom centre of the map.
- IOR/X/14769/2 - No. 40. Persia (Iran), Afghanistan and Baluchistan, at a scale of 110 English statute miles to one inch. The 'Explanation' (legend) is in the bottom right corner, above very brief notes on the three countries. In the bottom left corner is a list of translations.
- IOR/X/14769/3 - No. 42. India, Southern Part, at a scale of 110 English statute miles to one inch. The 'Explanation' (legend) is at the bottom centre, above very brief notes. There are two insets at different scales on the right of the map, one of Bombay and Vicinity, and the other a Map of the Straits Settlements of Malay Peninsula. The inset of the Straits Settlements has a manuscript addition in blue ink.
- IOR/X/14769/4 - No. 44. Chinese Empire, at a scale of 240 English statute miles to one inch. There are two insets at different scales, one of Hong Kong in the lower left corner, the other of Peking in the lower right corner. Above the inset map of Peking are a list of translations and a legend.
- IOR/X/14769/5 - No. 46. Japan and Korea, at a scale of 110 English statute miles to one inch. There are two insets at the same scale, one the North extension of Kurile Islands (To Japan) in the upper right corner, the other the South part of Japan, Liu-Kiu Islands and Formosa in the lower right corner. Within this inset is a further inset map of Bonin Is. and Sulphur Is. (To Japan), also at the same scale as the main map. Also in the top centre of the main map there is a list of provinces of Japan which have been superseded by other divisions, and in the bottom centre is a list of names of provinces indicated by numbers on the map. A list of translations is in the inset of South part of Japan. Volcanoes active during 19th Century are indicated by red dots.
- IOR/X/14769/6 - No. 48. East India Islands (Malaysia and Melanesia) at a scale of 200 English statute miles to one inch. There is an inset continuation of the main map in the top right corner to include New Guinea or Papua and Bismarck Archipelago, at the same scale. There is a further inset map of Netherlands at the same scale in the bottom left corner as a Comparative Area. Alongside is a legend. Volcanoes active during 19th Century are indicated by red dots.
