- Photographic reproductions of 5 first or second edition topographical map sheets from GSGS 4195, Syria, at a scale of 1:200,000. The maps show main settlements and communications, buildings such as towers, mills, and factories, natural features and trigonometrical locations. The GSGS originals were copied from French maps dated 1937-1944. Each sheet has a graphic index to sheets at the bottom left. First Editions also have a compilation diagram. The Reference (Legend) is at the bottom centre, and is either in English or both French and English. Grid information is provided in the bottom right corner.
