A. 'Froissart', op.19: one leaf, relating to the published score, pp. 21-3.

B. 'The Apostles' and 'The Kingdom': four oblong folio leaves, paginated 8-15. The leaves removed from the sketchbook now Add. 63159, and given by Elgar to Dr George Sinclair. See Pamela Willets, 'The Elgar Sketch-books', British Library Journal, xl (1985), p.43. The sketches relate to the following passages in the published vocal scores: The Apostles p.17 (sketch p.8), pp.19-25 (sketch pp.11-14), pp.53, 111 (sketch p.15), and The Kingdom, pp.12-14 (sketch p.10)

C. ‘The Apostles’: one leaf, relating to pp. 27, 28 of the published vocal score;

D: 'The Apostles': three leaves, the first signed by Elgar with a note of presentation ‘to G.R.S., Oct. 1911’; relating to pp.212-14 of the published vocal score) and the

E: Violin Concerto: first movement, two leaves, relating to pp.8-10 and 15 of the published full score. From the same draft (on Italian paper) as Add. 49974 A, f. 7, the text of which immediately follows the second of these leaves. The first of these leaves has a (later) version of the text found on Add. 49974 A, f. 5;

F: Violin Concerto: third movement, three leaves, relating to pp.87-92 of the published full score, comprising the solo violin part of the cadenza).
