- Material concerning the publication of Haydn's The Creation (Die Schoepfung) in France by Pleyel. The full score and vocal scores were eventually published in France by Pleyel in 1802.
1) Autograph draft of a contract in French, written and signed by the publisher Franz Anton Hoffmeister, acting on behalf of Pleyel in negotiations with Haydn. Dated: Vienna, 20 September 1800.
2) Letter in German from A. C. F. Köhler, on behalf of Pleyel, to the composer and pianist Johann Andreas Streicher, asking for assistance in negotiations with Haydn over publication rights. Dated: Leipzig, 3 September 1800 and (by the recipient) 17 September 1800.
3) Unsigned note in German supporting Pleyel's negotiations for the publication right to The Creation in France. Undated.
