- A street map of Calcutta, at a scale of approximately 1:21,120, published in London by George Cox under the superintendence of the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge, 1 January 1852. The map is not oriented to North. A list of 27 public buildings, churches and chapels is referenced below the map. At the bottom of the sheet are three views: Writers Buildings, Government House, and Esplanade Row. Two panels forming the inside front and inside back covers list maps and atlases available from Edward Stanford, 6, Charing Cross, S.W. The number 170 is printed below the three views.
