Four pieces of anecdotal journalism under the general heading of 'Paris Letters' (typescript) recording at least two business trips to Paris, incorporating colourful reference to many artists and writers and to the impact of post-war Parisian culture:

(1) 'Letter Home by Thurairajah Tambimuttu', describing itself as a diary for the Ceylon Daily News, with entries dated 25-27 September (year not given - 1947?), a visit undertaken with Richard March;

(2) 'Paris Letter' referring particularly to an exhibition of paintings by Buffie Johnson at Galerie Colette Allendy, to meeting Orson Welles, and to meeting Anil de Silva;

(3) Paris Letter (beginning 'Spring in Paris...') referring to visits to the studios of Constantin Brancusi and Jean Helion, in the company of Buffie Johnson and Richard March (whose name is struck-through in the text);

(4) 'Paris Letter' beginning: 'Tomorrow I shall catch the plane back to London and tonight is my last night in Paris. The last five weeks have been colourful and exciting in a way the last few years have not been. I have decided to give up publishing (the firm and its two subsidiary companies will carry on under the new board) and I shall settle down to the writing I have always wanted to do.'
