Add MS 88907/7/1/12

Undated letter from a contributor submitting a number of poems for consideration. The contributor chose to remain anonymous and published several numbered 'Odes' ('First', 'Second', 'Fourth', 'Sixth', 'Seventh') under the name 'Anonymous' in Poetry London, 2:9 (1943).

In addition to the covering letter ('Since I wish to remain anonymous, there is no point in giving you a name or address'), the file comprises the following poems:

• 'Third Ode';
• 'Ninth Ode';
• 'Fifteenth Anonymous Ode';
• 'Sixteenth Anonymous Ode';
• 'Seventeenth Anonymous Ode';
• 'Eighteenth Anonymous Ode';
• 'Nineteenth Ode Anonymous';
• 'Twentieth Anonymous Ode';
• 'Twenty-First Anonymous Ode'.

The letter is annotated in the hand of Nicholas Moore: 'Don't seem as good as a whole as those you printed, but I like the first two'. To judge from numbering (and paper size), 'Third Ode' and 'Ninth Ode' appear to be two rejected poems from the first batch submitted, and Moore's comments therefore refer to 'Fifteenth Anonymous Ode' and 'Sixteenth Anonymous Ode'.
