- Williams to Tambimuttu (manuscript, 23 July, 1942), submitting two poems (typescript): 'Song' ('A doxy is my newest dear…'), and 'Pattern with [sheet damaged] silver this dark earth…';
- Williams to Tambimuttu (manuscript, 5 October, 1945), about to depart for Alexandria, with a parting remark that Tambimuttu should 'use nice paper if you have any for my translations' (see next letter);
- Williams to Tambimuttu (manuscript, airletter from Alexandria, 23 March, 1947), referring to proofs for volume of translations from the Welsh (The Rent That's Due to Love, Editions Poetry London, 1950), and to 'Larrry' [Lawrence Durrell] 'just come from Rhodes' who is 'staying with me till he gets a ship to take him to England', and a passing reference to Raymond Mortimer 'here last week'.
Poems (typescript): 'We looked at the stars the other evening...', and 'Pennillion' ('The sluggard lying in his bed...'), the quatrains of which appear, re-distributed within a much-expanded text, in 'Penillion', The Rent That's Due to Love (1950), pp. 78-91.
