- Some drawers of patterns were this day employed in order to make sprigged taffaties and other silks to be fancied from their drawings. Resolved that James Naish do keep the Diary and Books of Accounts. That Edmund Godfrey do keep the Packing Books of all goods to be shipped on board the Princess of Wales and Prince Augustus, and also to pay and give an account of the charges of merchandize, in which he is to be assisted by Richard Lewes. That Richard Nicholson do keep the Packing Books of all goods to be shipped on board the Lyell and Devonshire, and to be assisted by John Raper. That George Arbuthnott hath the care of the goedowns or warehouses. That William Lane do keep the Compradore's account of factory expences.
