- Part 6 contains correspondence and telegrams between the Foreign Office, the India Office, the British Consulate at Yunnanfu (Kunming, China), the Chinese Waiwupu (Foreign Affairs Department), and the Chinese Legation in London, discussing a request of the Chinese Government to appoint a Chinese Consul at Mandalay, and authorising the establishment of a legation at Rangoon, without the opportunity to make official visits elsewhere in Burma. There are also documents concerning Chinese propaganda in Burma.
