This part contains papers relating to proposed military operations against the rebel khans of the Bushire hinterland. It includes papers regarding: an offer from Soulet-ed-Dowleh, the Ilkhani of the Kashgai tribe, of co-operation in clearing the Bushire to Shiraz road; the payment of subsidies to Soulet-ed-Dowleh for his assistance in the maintenance of order in Southern Persia; proposed action by Daria Begi [Dariya Begi or Darya Begi] against rebel khans; and the effect of the Russian Revolution (the February Revolution of February/March 1917) on Persia.
The papers largely consist of the following:
