This item consists of part two of the subject file 4613/1919 Iraq: Land Tenure. It concerns British land policy in the occupied territories of Mesopotamia [Iraq] and particularly relates to the registration of land purchases.
The correspondence is mainly concerned with a request from E D Sassoon and Company for its purchases of immovable properties in Basra to be registered by the British authorities.
