This part contains correspondence, memorandum, reports, telegrams and minutes. It mainly covers discussion between British officials regarding affairs at the Ahwaz Consulate, Arabistan [Khuzestan].
Related matters of discussion include the following: the appointment of Captain Eardley Garforth Bryan Peel as Consul at Ahwaz, his annual leave, and the covering of his position by Reginald Gybbon-Monypenny; judicial powers in Arabistan and the appointment of a Judicial Assistant under the Persian Coast and Islands Orders-in-Council; the financial accounts of the Consulate; details of staff at the Consulate; salaries and wages; lighting and fans; conveyance; sundry expenses; uniforms; a change in the procedure for the submission of the accounts of the Ahwaz Consular Escort.
