IOR/L/PS/10/994/2 consists of memoranda, letters, and correspondence concerning the development of an oil concession for Oman. Topics discussed include:
- Negotiations with the Anglo-Persian Oil Company (APOC) for an oil concession in Muscat, with three outstanding points in the agreement to be concluded with the Sultan of Muscat and Oman
- Oil concessions in Muscat, Bahrain and Kuwait, and APOC's wishes to be accorded the same treatment in Bahrain and Kuwait as in Muscat.
Also included is a copy of the agreement between the Sultan of Muscat and Oman [Saiyid Taimur bin Faisal], and the D'Arcy Exploration Company Limited on an oil concession for Muscat (ff 268-279).
