This part contains papers, mostly correspondence, relating to communications between British authorities in the Persian Gulf.
The papers mainly concern the following: the sharing of telegraphic communications between the Senior Naval Officer in the Persian Gulf, the Political Resident at Bushire, the British Legation at Tehran, and the Government of India; and the channel of communication to be adopted when air matters were under discussion between the Political Resident in the Persian Gulf and the Air Officer Commanding in Iraq.
The main correspondents are as follows: the India Office; the Government of India Foreign and Political Department; the Admiralty; the Foreign Office; the Senior Naval Officer, Persian Gulf; the Political Resident in the Persian Gulf; the Colonial Office; and the Air Ministry.
