The item consists of correspondence regarding a peace treaty between the East India Company and the Joasmee [Āl Qāsimī], and relations between the Joasmee and the Imam of Muscat.
The correspondence consists mainly of letters between the Government of Bombay and the Resident at Muscat. It also includes letters from prominent members of the Joasmee and from Mullah Hussain [Molla Husayn], Ruler of Kishem [Qishm].
