Correspondence regarding the progress of vaccination in Mysore State under the superintendence of William Ingledew. Includes:
- Copy of Ingledew's instructions to native vaccinators, compiled from the writings of E Jenner and others [see related descriptions for a full description];
- copy of Ingledew's statement on the number of persons inoculated for the Cow Pox in Mysore from April 1807-March 1808;
- plus letter permitting Ingledew to receive a gift of 1,200 Rupees annually from the Raja of Mysore for his superintendence of the vaccination work.
