This item consists of copies and extracts of correspondence and minutes cited in, or enclosed with, letters to and from the Government of Bombay [Mumbai]. It mostly features reports sent by Claudius James Rich, Political Agent in Turkish Arabia.

- The deposition of Saed [Said] Pasha of Bagdad [Baghdad], and his replacement by Daoud [Dawud] Effendi [referred to as Daoud Pasha following his accession to the Pashalic]
