De Putron, son of the late Daniel and Susanna De Putron of Guernsey and Madeira - he states that De Putron was recruited to the crew of the whaling ship Royalist at Madeira in 1829 by Captain Harris and is now being detained as a slave in the East Indies by the same Captain Harris - he begs the Company to do everything in their power to secure De Putron's release.
