- Dated at Fort St George, concerning events in Madras and the work of the council there. In duplicate (letter only). Enclosed is a narrative of the military operations undertaken by the Company in the Deccan between November 1767 and May 1768 and letters from the Nawab and his eldest son dated 13 April and 5 May respectively. Both the letters are in translation; also enclosed is a possible extract from one letter, while the letter from the eldest son may have been signed by the sender. Part Persian
