ff. 2r-19v: Abbo of Fleury, Passio Sancti Edmundi (Passion of St Edmund), beginning: 'Dorobernensium aecclesiae archiepiscopo Dunstano, vere moribus et aetate maturo'; ending: 'ut nos cum sibi digne famulantibus expiet a peccatis quibus meremur supplicium per eum qui vivit et regnat in secula secularum. Amen'.
ff. 20r-85v: Herman the Archdeacon, Miracula Sancti Edmundi (Miracles of St Edmund, in the long version), beginning: 'Per sanctum enim memoriam fecit dominus mirabilium suorum oppido misericordia eius et miseratione precedente in humana conditione', ending: 'medie noctis in spatio periclitantur'.
Decoration:
Large rustic initials in gold (ff. 20r-85v). St Edmund's name is written in gold within the text 'Eadmundus' (e. g., ff. 25v, 27r, 28v, 29v). 'Eadmundus' highlighted in red (f. 27r) or in green (f. 32v).
Spaces left blank at the beginning of each work (ff. 2r, 20r) and for some initials.

Item Vite 7 passiones xxxiii sanctorum in anglico'; a 14th-century press-mark 'S 155'; 14th-century inscription 'deficiunt hic .vi. miracula que sunt in libro domini Iohanni de C. prioris'; the same scribe has added incipits and explicits for each work.
