These folios contain a series of law codes associated with Anglo-Saxon kings or writers, including the earliest known copies of I and II Cnut. These texts include:
ff. 3r-16r: I Cnut (3r–16r);
ff. 16r-41r: II Cnut;
ff. 42r-44v: II-III Edgar;
ff. 45r-48r, 51r-57v: law codes of Alfred and Ine (imperfect, completed by John Joscelyn in ff. 58-69);
f. 48r: Romscot;
ff. 48r-50v: ‘Judex’ (from Alcuin, De virtutibus et vitiis, chapter 20).
Decoration: initials in red, oxidized red, green (from f. 13v), and black (ff. 3r-40r); red fill in a letter (f. 12v); initials with foliate detail (ff. 16r-40r); sketch of a cross in the margin (ff. 16r, 40r); red and green initials (f. 42r); initials and numerals in red (ff. 44r-48r); green initials (f. 48r).

Origin: England (?Canterbury): unlike other manuscripts of Cnut's laws, its wording reflects Kentish legal practices, leading some scholars to suggest it was copied at Canterbury (see Wormald, Making (1999), p. 226). Most of its text was written by two scribes, the second of which begins on f. 42.
