ff. 345r-347r: An account of the foundation of the abbey of St John, Colchester.
Decoration: A tinted drawing of the abbey with a large roundel above containing a shield of arms surrounded by the inscription, 'Eudo filius Huberti de Rya fundator Monasteri' Colecestrensis' (f. 345r). Smaller roundels in the outer margins in red, green or yellow, some containing the names of successive abbots (ff. 345r-347r). A sketch of the abbey pasted in below the text (f. 347r).
