The Benedictine Cathedral Priory of Saint Andrew, Rochester, according to the language, the orthography and the script (see Richard, 'On the date and provenance' (1973, ) or the Benedictine Cathedral priory of Christ Church, Canterbury according to the contents of the volume which are closely connected to Christ Church. The manuscript could likely be a copy of a manuscript of Christ Church (Handley, 'British Museum MS. Cotton Vespasian D. xiv' (1974).
