Contents:
ff. 2r-86r: Penitential manual including the first part of the Penitentiale Sangermanense or Cantabrigiense. Liturgical part of the penitential is on ff. 2r-3v; the ordo part is on ff. 4r-86r.
ff. 87r-92v: Confessional prayer in Old English. It contains a long list of sins aimed to the confession and the administration of penance. This prayer with others share a common Latin original (see: Thijs Porck, 'Two notes on an Old English confessional prayer in Vespasian D. XX', Notes and Queries 60 (2013) 493-8).
f. 93r: Charms against toothache accompanied by a recipe of a medication to drink. This part is an addition of the second half of the 11th century.
Decoration:
ff. 2-92v: Rustic initial in black ink. Rubrics have originally been highlighted in red, now oxidised.
f. 93r-v: initials in red and blue with decoration.
