John Dee (b. 1527, d. 1609): mathematician, astrologer, and antiquary: his note add in the lower margin of f. 142r; perhaps his note and reference to River Dee on f. 133v; perhaps added the manicules on ff. 135r, 137r, 140v, 141v-142v, 144v.
